Owners should follow current city rules and make sure their dog is properly vaccinated before visiting.

We worked with this company and their family to get our puppy Odin ! He has been in exceptional health, great temperament and is the perfect addition to our family. Working with First Choice Frenchies was super easy, very professional and their care of puppies is exceptional. They answered all our questions, had great advice on future care and they require you to have a vet and pet insurance to take your puppy home. This shows great care in wanting what's best for your pup. We would recommend this family to everyone! Thank you from Ashley & Jeremy Pagniano !

I found First Choice Frenchies while casually looking at puppies online. One of their pups (Teddy) stole my heart from first sight. I contacted FCF to see if Teddy was still available and they responded promptly. I after thinking about it for 24 hrs. I reached out again the next day to make sure he was still available and that I wanted to reserve him. They responded in a timely manner even though they were closed that day. I reserved my pup and two days later drove two hours to pick him up. He is a very beautiful funny, and energetic lil guy. I had him checked by my vet the same day I brought him home and he was given a perfect bill of health. If I ever get another frenchie I will definitely reach out to First Choice Frenchies, they take good care of them and their price is very fair. I recommend anyone looking for a Frenchie to reach out to this breeder.

We spent a great deal of time searching for a breeder who cares about breeding for good genetics and temperament. Not a puppy mill breeder! First Choice Frenchies did not disappoint. Marion was so helpful in answering any question we had before making our deposit and took great care of our girl until she was ready to come home. We couldn’t be happier with our new puppy! She is well socialized, perfectly healthy and so darn adorable! Not only did First Choice Frenchies make sure she was ready for her first road trip ( we drove 1000 miles to get her) but they provided everything from good quality food, Toys, food bowls, and a crate to ensure we had everything we needed! First Choice Frenchies will not disappoint!

Living With a French Bulldog in Atlantic City, New Jersey

Atlantic City gives French Bulldog owners a very different lifestyle from an inland suburb, with dense neighborhoods, ocean air, public parks, and waterfront surroundings all close together. The compact environment can work well for Frenchies because daily exercise can often be handled with shorter neighborhood outings.

A major addition for local dog owners is the dog park at Altman Park near South New Hampshire and Pacific Avenues. The city opened the facility in 2025 with separate fenced sections for dogs over 40 pounds and dogs up to 40 pounds, along with open space and agility-style features.

The Altman Park Dog Park is open from sunrise to sunset. Owners are expected to clean up after their dogs, and the city asks that dogs using the park have appropriate vaccinations.

Atlantic City’s coastal setting also means owners should think about hot pavement, humidity, direct sun, and seasonal access rules before planning longer outings near the beach or boardwalk. Sand and pavement can become uncomfortable quickly on hot summer days.

For Frenchies, early morning and evening walks are generally the better choice during the warmer months. Ocean breezes can make conditions feel cooler to people even when the temperature and humidity are still uncomfortable for a short-nosed dog.
